What to do if you want to use this benefit?

As part of its emergency services benefit, CAMAF offers its members International Travel Cover of R5 million per beneficiary per journey for emergency unforeseen and unexpected medical costs while they travel outside South Africa. This cover is for a period of 90 days from your departure from South Africa.

To arrange your cover and to get your Insurance Certificate, login here and select International Cover under Benefits -> My Cover.

Alternatively, you can contact the Travel Insurance Desk on 011 521 4504 and the consultant will assist you with issuing of your documents. Have your CAMAF membership number handy so that you can be validated, together with your passport number, date of birth, destination and travel dates.

The travel insurance desk will send you your Insurance Certificate, Policy Document and emergency contact numbers.

Arrange this cover as soon as possible once your itinerary has been finalised.
